I feel sorry for her too. I watched the Silent Hill movie already and I like it. To be honest, I was so happy to see that cult's dreadful death! hahahaha

Sadly, I haven't played the first Silent Hill game, and I thought the movie was a bit disappointing. D:
But I loved Alessa in that movie, and I don't really know the whole story from the first game, but she's a really interesting character.

Alessa is the daughter of Dahlia Gillespie, the leader of a cult known as The Order that operates out of the fictitious titular town of Silent Hill. She was originally meant to follow in her mother's footsteps and take over as spiritual medium for the religious group, but her role in the franchise is greater, her history directly influencing all events in the Silent Hill universe.

In the 2006 Silent Hill film, a young Alessa is portrayed by Canadian actress Jodelle Ferland, with her older self played by Lorry Ayers.

Alessa's thoughts and fears are contorted by her powers into the various supernatural phenomena that plague Silent Hill. When she is young, the girl enjoys collecting butterflies and drawing pictures, but she was afraid of insects other than butterflies, and menacing or frightening animals like large dogs, snakes, and worms. In addition, she develops an aversion to adults from being mistreated by her mother and the cult...

:3 I knew about the cult and Dahlia and how she was suppose to take it over. And that she had an aversion.

But I didn't know about the drawings, butterflys and bugs.

Ooh, this makes me want to play it more. x_x
I wish you saw her in Silent Hill 3, instead of the bloody Heather look-a-like.

I finished the game when I was in High school. And the bloody Heather we saw in the game is Alessa's dark memories... Or shall they called: Memory of Alessa... That monster contains Alessa's dark past, pain, fear and suffering....and hatred...
